Nail painting is a fun way to add a splash of color to any outfit. It’s also a terrific method to express oneself, as nail colors tend to highlight your attention to detail when putting up your look.
The colors and patterns appear to be as diverse as individuals themselves, but I believe that, like many other decisions we make in life, our nail color preferences may reveal a lot about who we are and what sort of personality we have.
1. Natural Nails
If you like a natural appearance or transparent nail polish, you’re probably the sort of gal that doesn’t use much makeup. You prefer to spend your time getting ready doing other things, and you don’t find splashes of color to be particularly useful.
It’s possible that you don’t feel confident in your ability to do your own nails and are too busy to spend time at a nail salon having them done.
2. DIY Patterns
If you’re used to creating your own unique and creative nail art at home, you probably have a few more nail tools than the typical women. Stickers, nail colors with specific brushes, and an entire cabinet full of polishes are nothing new to you, and you’re an expert at utilizing them.
My hunch is that you’re creative and artistic in more than one manner, and you use your own nail beds as blank canvases to re-imagine every few days. You’re probably just as creative with your clothes, and others look to you for fantastic ideas!
3. Reds And Pinks
Whether you paint your own nails or have them done at a salon, if you find yourself continuously returning to reds and pinks on your fingernails, I’d call you a classic-type beauty. You may have a unique sense of style, but your nails lean toward the conventional and romantic.
You can’t get enough of the lovely hues typically associated with love, and you don’t see the sense in altering something that works so well. I mean, if it isn’t broken…
4. Blues And Greens
There are several hues to choose from in this category, but blues and greens aren’t your average nail color and are often used as an alternative to a more traditional look.
Remember when black nail paint was almost exclusively worn by goths? Now, the tendency is far broader than just that one style, and I believe the same is true for deeper blues and greens. Anyway, you’re still the person that wants to challenge societal conventions and think outside the box.
5. Nail Wraps
Think Jamberry and other nail wrap companies. These are a simpler method to create lovely designs on your nails without having to do all of the effort. If you mainly use this style of nail treatment, I’d say you have a personality similar to the DIY Patterns gal, but you don’t have the time (or patience) to design it yourself.
You value convenience and like the most recent ideas for everything in life. You’re probably the first among your pals to try anything new, and you’re most likely a trendsetter.
6. French Manicure
Another variation on a classic appearance, a French manicure is impossible to pass up. You are the sort of lady who adores dressing up and feeling wonderfully put together, whether you do it yourself or go to a salon. You dislike having “off” days because you like things to flow smoothly and properly.
Though your appearance may not scream “creativity and individuality,” you are a class act, and many ladies probably look up to you.
